The last 2 weekends it has been to rough for me to get out in my boat so I have been going with Ken Neill on his 30 foot Albermal. Last weekend started out being to rough for his boat but we went anyway. We have been fishing an area called the Triangle wrecks about 32 miles out of Rudee Inlet that is in VA Beach, VA. Last weekend we had clams, shrimp and frozen crabs for bait. The frozen crabs did not work. We caught 23 togs up to 13 pound keeping 9 and tagging and releasing the rest. Yesterday we had clams, shrimp and live blue crabs. It started out slow but we ended up catching 28 togs up to 11.5 pounds and a lost 30 inch rockfish that was released. I had a 25 inch tog that weighed 10 pound on the boat scale that I decided to tag and release not with out listening to some grief from the crew. We also had our share of small seabass, cunners and sharks we had to deal with.
