Just got my new 21 SE with a factory T top. Is it O.K. to run the VHF cable through the T top tubing? After spending lots of hours looking on Classic Parker I feel like you guys are family. Thanks.

You could run it within the tubing, but you'll have to really make sure to seal the tubing around the cable, or drill drain holes (of they aren't there already). If water gets in, and can't get out, the tubing will split when it freezes and the water expands. Its a cleaner install, and ultimately its up to you. Personally, I run the wire externally, mainly for ease of access. I can understand how on a T-top, it'll be really noticeable. Just remember to not install the Centerpin connector until AFTER you run the wire. Ask me how many times I've made that mistake.

Mine is through the tubing no problem. I just replaced my antenna and re-run through the tubes no problem. When routing, I just had to make sure I was in the pipe/tube opening then it fed EZ.

Hi Guys,

I just got a 23 SE with a t-top and I was wondering how best to pass through the fabric without making a massive hole and keeping it from fraying? Any advise?

I am not sure that the Blue Seas clamp will work with a Canvas top as there is no way to attach it to the canvas.

It should screw into the Flat oval tube and trap the fabric between.

At least that is the way they build the T-Tops around here. I drill and tap the alum.
