water puddling in the center console?

New owner of a 1999 2100 DV CC with a factory hardtop,everytime I take the boat out (console starts out pretty dry) a puddle/splashing accumulates inside the center console? I havent been out in the rain? Or in seas rough enough to take water over the bow? I cant figure out where its coming from. Any input would be appreciated. What are the possible sources?
