The sill plate and first step into my berth seems to stay wet. I suspected the berth roof hatch was leaking. After taking her out Sunday I left the berth side hatches open, the berth door open and the cabin windows open about an inch. Two sunny days with no rain and they were wet again when I checked them today. The carpet on the roof of the cabin and berth are both dry. Any ideas?

I checked the anchor locker on Sunday while on the hook and it was dry. I guess when the anchor rode comes up (wet) there could be some water leaking from the locker rearward no the berth benches which could bring it to the area I’m talking about. Great thought. I’ll look closer.

There is about an inch of water in the forward bilge when I’m in the slip or on the hook. It does drain to the rear bilge when under way.

I don't think it would be coming from the rub rail because the carpets on the walls are dry. I think you nailed it with it coming back from the anchor locker. the wetness seems to be about the height of the benches at the rear bulkhead of the berth and down. I'll have to pull the bean bags and seat cushions out of the berth, put some water in the anchor locker with a hose and see what I find.

Today I filled the anchor locker with water from a hose. There were no leaks into the berth. I opened the hatch in the berth floor and water was running freely into the bilge from the anchor locker. I sprayed the side hatches and the roof hatches. No leaks. The only thing I found was when spraying the floor in the cabin, water was able to go under the bulkhead and splash onto the berth step. I don't know what else it could be.
