I know that this has absolutely nothing to do with Parkers, but it is a boat project web site, so if you like projects, check this one out!

http://www.whaleboat.us/

The site was just created a couple of days ago, so the content is pretty lean, but there are a couple of project boats posted in the photo gallery that look like they could be fun.

I wouldn't mind having one of these putt-putts myself. :)

WOW! Does that bring back some memories. When I was young there were ferry boats running from Jamestown RI (I grew up on Jamestown which was an island) to Newport RI and when they scrapped one of them and it went up for bids. At the time my brother Joe and I had the opportunity to bid on it and we won (and that was because no one else bid on it) and we bought it for $25.00 (all the money we had) and it looked almost like this whale boat. We had a ball with it until we left it in shallow water and at low tide it laid on it's side and never floated again. It was a fun boat and at 25' we could stand some pretty good waves.
