If I recall correctly, the XL model introduced the 16-degree deadrise, earliest post of them on CP places them around March 2006.

I am not positive of this but I thought the XL models with the 16 degree were available during the 2005 model year when I was strongly considering a Parker. For some reason I think 2004 was the first year. Others may know for sure.

It might have been even earlier. My memory isn't great, but I seem to remember the 14 degree MVSC being discontinued in the 2000/2001 time frame.

For a time, the factory produced three 25' SC hulls.

MVSC - 14 degree
XL - 16 degree
DV - 21 degree

If you want to narrow your search, it might be worth a call to the factory to ask them.

superboat... if you get an answer from the factory, let us know what they say.

Here is the number... 252-728-5621

I bought my 2520xl new in 2004 and it has 16 degree DR

I also have an '04 XL. The early XL's usually had the 225F Yamaha. Sometime in "05-06 the started putting 250F on the transom. It's something to consider when buying a used one. Alittle more power is always good.

The 2520 Xl Sport Cabin was manufactured during the years: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007,2008,2009 and 2010.
