I sold a 17 aquasport to upgrade to an 1801 but it hasn't happened yet. What's the difference between the 17 and 18, 1800 and 1801 if any.

Parker doesnt make a 17ft boat anymore. They currently make the 1801, which is the upgrade from the 1800. I think they changed to the 1801 designation a little over 10 years ago but I could be wrong. I think the improvements between the 1800 and 1801 are anchor locker is now on top of the bow deck instead of below the gunwale, maybe a little higher gunwales, the cooler seat was replaced by the livewell seat and the outboard gas and electric lines are enclosed in tubing on the 1801, whereas on the 1800 they are not. Some other improvements may be the addition of the tackle center on the port side of the console and 4 stroke instead of 2 stroke engines. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think these are the basics.

Where do you live Bigrtuna? I have a 2007 1801 for sale on Long Island, NY. It's listed for sale on this website, see the link below. The boat is in fantastic shape and I am only selling to go bigger.

I'm on L.I. too. I saw your boat listed. Looks good but a bit more than I want to spend at this time as we're still rebuilding from sandy
