Where to mount speakers?

I just ordered a 23SE and I was wondering where to mount the speakers for a stereo I will be installing. I was thinking about installing them in the bottom of the electronics box so they will be pointed down to the center console. I was going to mount the fusion stereo inside the console and have the remote in the glove box. Anybody have any thoughts? Thx.

Rather than drill holes and mount electronic things that generally rust and give up in a year or two, I've gone to cheap Sony Sport boom-boxes. They last as long as a mounted stereo system, and can be replaced easily.

B-Faithful taught me that trick and I've never looked back.
