Hi all. I am in need of picking up a full sheet (4x8') likely of black starboard in order to have the wood trim and doors on my 2110 redone. I am assuming a 4x8' sheet will be enough but maybe more will be needed. And I am guessing 1/2" should be OK for trim/doors ...... unless someone thinks 3/4" is the way to go.

Is there any place around the area (Annapolis?) that carries it in stock for public sale? West Marine? They are about the only marine store around me (closest one is in Alexandria, VA - about 30 mins from me) that I can think of but I am guessing there are some marinas/shops around that I am not familiar with.

I'd like to get hold of quickly once I get a needed quantity to do the job and rather not burn a few days waiting on shipping (and then having to deliver it to the shop doing the work).

Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't exactly need an intact full sheet. More so, I need enough pieces of size to account for 2 cabinet doors, a cuddy door and the corner trim and edging around the doors.

I would want 3/4 for the doors. The 1/2" will not be ridgid enough to do what you want to do. I think that is what the existing doors are fabricated from- 3/4" styles and rails with 1/4" panels. I just ordered a 1/2" x 12 x 27 from WM and I think it was around $27.00.

Good luck!!

I can do that once I ever get my boat back. When? TBD.

There is a place right down the street from me where I have picked up starboard, maybe a 45 minute ride for you. SeaJay plastics,4254 North Point road in Dundalk. Give them a call they may be able to get you what you need 410-388-2330. Its a nice little shop and she will sell you scraps or whole peices, nice people

I bought a full sheet from Read Plastics in Rockvilled about 10 years ago. It was only like $200 back then...
