where to relocate Raymarine DMS module to

I bought a 2005 Parker 2510 last summer. I had problems with the boat's Raymarine C120 system and ended up talking to Raymarine and they replaced my DMS 300 unit. When the previous owner had the unit installed they installed in on the port side basically in front of the freshwater holding tank. I'm guessing when they installed it they removed the port side chair and livewell to remove the side panel. I manage to access it through the hatch, without removing the panel, but it almost killed me getting it out to send back to Raymarine. I'm thinking about relocating the DSM unit to a place it's easier to access. Anyone have any suggestions where to mount it at that would be easier to access it?
