I currently have (2) 12 circuit with cover and ground at my helm. Originally I planned for 1 panel at the helm and 1 at the stern but I ran out of space in my helm panel.

I use the 12gang w/GND near the helm.

I use the 6gang w/GND up in a Crows Nest or in a E-Box. I like to have Sterieo radios and VHF radio's up in a E-Box on center consoles.

Why? They are out of the way....yet radially accessible. It puts the VHF speaker closer to your ear.

But the Biggest reason is space savings. I want to have Max room for the largest MFD's available.....or 2 of them.
