Why doesn't my boat have stress cracks?

I just bought a 2000 2520 and when I saw her in person I was astonished to find that there was not a single stress crack.

Over the past year I have looked at many boats including stieger's, grady's, c-hawks and others. All of them had stress cracks in one place or another. But not my boat.

Is this typical for a Parker?

And are they caused by wheather by any chance? My boat is from the south and presumably has never been exposed to such extreme temp change as she will now, should I expect to see cracks now?

Just wondering.

It's a Parker Duh!!!! :D

8)

Mine has two, and I know right where they are, one above the door, presumably from previous owner carrying rods and reels in, one on the edge of the gunwale also before I owned her, looks like hard landing on a piling.

Neither have grown.

ditto on the hard landing, but I have one on each side where the pilothouse/cabin meets the gunwale. Probably from slaming into head seas. Sounds like you got a great one there.

I have some on the starboard side (barely discernible) that were obviously caused by the previous owner letting her slam against some pilings.
Hardly noticeable, but I know they are there.

Parkers are tough. I consider my few imperfections 'character marks'. 8)

None yet on mine.....knock on wood :D

I'm kinda tough on her.

Unfortunately there are a bunch of stress cracks in the fiberglass around the bow railing and right above the rub rail. One above the rub rail is thin but goes 1/2 length of the boat. Should I fix these and how do I do it. New gelcoat? Cracks are from previous owner, guess he couldnt drive the boat and boat was in water all year ( though it was on a hydraulic lift and under a canopy)

I have a 99 2510 DV. I just started seeing a few in the floor. The boat probably has 2000 hours running time and has hit some big heavy submerged logs. It is truley build like a brick **** house.

At some point I'm going to close in the transom and put a bracket on the back. When I do that project I'll clean up the deck at the same time.

It must be workin, cause I just grabbed another limit of lobsters yesterday at our local Isalands

I'm no expert, but I would think weather conditions during the manufacture process might have something to do w/it?
And operator error
