Widening Hole in Console

I'm replacing my older style bennett rocker switch with the current model (ES2000) and found that the existing hole is a little small - maybe 1/16".

It's basically where the 4 screws in the base of the switch protrude a little more and the screw head catches the edge of the hole in the console.

Should I just file that area until it clears?

Dremel will work as well. Aren't they great tools?
