Is anyone else having issues with the windows on their PH not staying up?

It seems like with even the slightest bumps, the port window will not stay up, no matter how much I crank on the knobs.

Anyone have any solutions?

I put on a large SS fender washer, then a rubber washer, then another large SS fender washer, and then a split lock washer (also SS) and have had ZERO window issues.

Do you have the newer (silver) Diamond Seaglaze windows with the gas struts, or the older (black) windows with the positive latch bars?

I have the gas struts. I think Dale assumed I had the latch bars.

My DSG adjusters hold inplace with a screw knob and work very well. No gas involved.

Mine look exactly like the ones in your picture. I guess I spoke too soon. I know they are not the latch type but I thought maybe they were the gas type. Since they don't (never did) work, I thought maybe they had gas in them at one time.

Stop driving so fast. :D :D :D

 Fast? It's a Parker, remember?

Anyway, I think I have solution. I used the nail sleeves that are used to install gutters. Made out of some sort of plastic. I ripped a small opening with a dremel and cut to length. You can cut various lengths to accommodate how much you want the window raised.

Snaps right on and when I put pressure on the window, they don't buckle.

We'll see...
