Wiper motor failure

I have a 2004 2320 Sport Cabin. One of the windshield wiper motors failed. Has anyone ever had these repaired or replaced?

in my experience, its not worth trying to fix them. mine was all burnt up on the inside, probably saltwater intrusion but who knows. mine was one of the gray AFI ones, got a replacement at West Marine. the hardest part of the install was removing the old wiper arm from the old motor shaft, it was pretty corroded on. after that, a few contacts, some 5200, and the deed was done.

I would NOT use 5200 as a sealant, it is very hard to remove should you have to replace the motor again 4200 or marine silicone sealant (the kind that does NOT smell like acetic acid) will do the job.
