Wipers wont stay down

I finally put my new to me 2520 in the water when I open front windows and then close them the wipers stay up in the window open position is there any thing I can do to keep them from doing this?

Typical, I reach out the side window and slam them down.

A little silicone in the spring may help.

Same here. I've tried different lubricants and nothing seems to work because with the window all the way up the wiper springs seems to lock it in that position.

Rain-X the window and forget the wiper.

Some wiper arms are designed to do that.....some are not.

It allows you to move the wipers out of the way and clean the window.

If you have the Wynn windows they wont do it cause the darn windows don't open out far enough
