Planning on installing new led cockpit lights, and wiring them to existing cockpit light below coaming pads.
Wire for my new lights appears to be aluminum. My question is, any issues with connecting different wires? ie: copper aluminum
Thanks-

My guess would be the wire is "tinned". Copper with a tin coating and there should be no issues with that in fact it is preferred. Good Luck

Third.
Aluminum is really not a good conductor in comparison to copper. It would increase "voltage drop" and the increased resistance could create heat generation problems.....I can't imagine any vendor using aluminum wiring in a quality product.
