Yesterday hooked the water up to my Yamaha 115 4s and let it run a few minutes, and afterwards noticed oil running down from prop when I cut it off....not but a few drops, but not ever happened before. A 2004 on my 1801...only 338 hours...and never had any problems. Changed lower unit oil this past fall...only 10 - 12 hours on it since. My question is....the seal behind the prop looks to be leaking and is this a problem that maby I could repair...how much trouble is getting old seal out and replacing...and is there one or two seals? Someone with knowledge of replacing this seal chim in...need some help.
