Yamaha Speed gauge

My Yamaha speed gauge is reading zero all the time. What does it connect to?

Look for a clear pastic tube from the guage going to where the mid-section and lower unit join together.

Mark, check the pitot tube that is located on the leading edge of the lower unit. Sometimes small pieces of debris get stuck in hte pitot tube. It happens to me all the time when I boat in the Delaware River in NJ. I use a tiny drill bit to clean it out. I just poke/twist it in by hand. I don't chuck the drill bit into a drill motor. Just do it manually. Hopefully, that will clean the pitot tube out. Good luck.....

I have a similar problem on a digital gauge . It always reads full bars . It dropped one bar once and it was down 17 gallons - 2006 - 1801. Any suggestions? And where they are located.
