No way to get to running lights, windless power and bolts, etc., without. Newer models look like bow deck redone. I did something similar on my 1700, but I don’t have the casting platform you have: Really makes accessing everything in that compartment a breeze. I spent a lot of time appreciating that hatch during my TM install.
