See this post here: http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11035, as I used the info from Robt Cibran and Sully for inspiration. I chose the 2-tone sand color over the top of the black base, ala Sully.
Notes:
Length - Due to their length limitations, they couldn't make 1-piece long enough to over the entire 11' length of the cockpit, so I chose to go with 2-pieces. I think it worked out well.
Installation - Besides the thorough cleaning, I used a few things to help with my install since I was doing it alone. I used quarters set on the aluminum trim to help establish the height line - and it worked out slick!
I also used a large piece of duct tape to hold it tight while I was working on one end but note that I put a 2nd piece of tape against the adhesive in the area where the tape would bear on the SeaDek itself. That was just enough to hold it in place.
Then I lifted one end and carefully peeled the backer off to expose the adhesive, while holding the piece where I wanted it. I worked in 8" to 1' sections and it went on great. Damn adhesive is strong, so be sure to have it positioned well before peeling the backer.
You can also see I re-did the tuna tower seat with SeaDek over upholstery. I'll be the 1st one to admit that good upholstery is significantly softer, but this works ...
