I have a 1967 2.5L Mercruiser Engine with a cracked exhaust manifold. I've found one for sale online that looks correct, but declares it to fit only as far back as 1968. Is there a difference from the '67 to the '68? If so, does anyone know where I can get the correct manifold? Or, is it possible for the cracked manifold I have to be fixed? I'm completely new to the entire boating world, but trying to learn. Thanks.

Inboard or I/O exhaust is a consumable item. In Salt they get replaced every 5yrs.... You've got me if a a '68 will fit a '67.... But...It's the Lil 120.... 4 cylinder and I'd bet it would fit.....You may need to do some upgrading?

Thanks for the information. Yes, it's the 4 cylinder, 120 h.p. engine. Being the novice, what upgrades do think might be needed?

Their may be a different casting and Riser ? IE: Looks different than what you have... But still bolts to the block. But THAT is all just speculation.

Okay, got it. Thank you. You've given me material to work with. Once I've got this figured out, I'll post it the conclusion. Maybe it will also be helpful to someone with an old motor.
