Anyone with a 21se on a bunk trailer? I am trying to get an idea of how best to set up the bunks.

I got a diagram from Parker and was told that they should be 24" on center, which seems very close together, but maybe I am missing something? The bunks are 4x6 and can be easily adjusted. I know the hull chines are 50" on center and the live-well pick-up is probably about 8-9" off center on the port side.

I know the factory should know best, but that just seems odd to have them so close together...... Thoughts/advice :?:

Thanks George

I actually have the same diagram that I got from Parker. I set the bow eye to transom measurement, but just questioned having the bunks so close together - the recommended 24" on center. I assumed maybe 40" on center after looking at the diagram.....

I just put my 21SE on a new trailer and the problem with going really wide is the boat sits very low on the trailer and may hit the fenders...challenge of a wide boat. Parker recommends 24" because that is where the stringers are. I moved my vertical 4" x 10" bunks inside of the strakes and it loads and pulls good. The boat is 19'6" from transom to bow eye. If you are close by and want to come look at mine you are welcome or if you would like some pics I can do that also

Ok, that makes sense..... I will take some more measurements at lunch. I wish I was local to take a look, but a few pictures would be great if you have the time. Thanks :D

I will PM you my e-mail.

If you still are having issues PM me and I will give you exacts...I have the 21 se that sits on a loadrite dual ax bunk, and can give you the exact measurements of the bunks.
