I dont think that's true about the chargers....I learned that the pre-wired chargers do not cross the AC and DC ground so a galvanic isolator is not needed if that is the only connection to shore power

Do you have lead acid batteries? I want to move mine forward (parker 2310), but I worry about damaging the batteries by subjecting them to more "pounding"...

Same problem here. What tool did you use to sand\grind out the area? I was thinking of picking up a 2inch DA sander. Here's a picture so far, been using a dremel but it's pretty slow going
