    Stereo speakers in the cockpit

    Stereo speakers in the cockpit

Yeah John, I like your set up the best but I would have to re orient my wash down outlet and cockpit led lights if I put my speakers there. It may still be doable with some modifications. I especially like the location of your stereo's wired remote above the door. You should market that as a kit...

    Stereo speakers in the cockpit

The stereo set up in my 2520 sounds fine in the pilot house. Now I would like to be able to enjoy my music while outside. I've narrowed the speaker placement to either low on the pilot house bulkhead wall facing aft, or small box speakers under the gunnels. I imagine the bulkhead mounting allows...

    Helm Seat - 2320

I am very interested in responses to this post. I have the standard molded seat with cushions. On long boat rides, I get aches in my shoulders due to the small, prehensile, almost non-existent armrests. I have been pondering the ladder back seat as seen on many newer Parkers, but have seen some...

    Draining Racor filter bowl

Hi Erol, I've been out on a fairly regular basis. Not quite as much as you based on the number of posts I've read of yours over at Allcoast. Got in several good days back when the water was warm and the DoDos were biting. I almost always fish weekdays and am always on the lookout for you since...

    Draining Racor filter bowl

Well, I am embarrassed to admit that I don't know the proper way to drain out the contaminants at the bottom of my Racor filter bowl. I've never had to do it until now. When opening the little petcock at the bottom, nothing comes out and I assume I have to open a vent somewhere or take the cap...

    Adding a windlass to a 2320?

    Windless jamming

I used to have the same problem. When dropping the anchor, the rode would jam up and I would have to try to acces the knot from the anchor locker door in the cabin - major pain. I read somewhere that the vertical style windlass imparts a twist to the rope and if the drop into the anchor locker...

    Anchor Light Upgrade

This may be my next replacement anchor / nav light when / if my current Sea Sense model dies again. Haven't seen it in any stores yet and don't know about price. This may be the "Hella" brand that Megabyte saw.

    Check this out

My Brother in-law sent me these photos. I posted them on one of my other fishing sites and thought I'd share here too. Anyone do any swimming in Oklahoma?

I love my Parker but I would be hard pressed to rid myself of that nice old Hatt if it were mine.

Hey Tara ll, How about posting some pictures of you deck / bait tank placement?

    Fuel tank leak

Good thoughts Phil. I'm right with ya. All hoses were replaced with the good stuff before the deck went back in place. Hopefully, that will be the last time I ever have such good access to them.

    TD Installed

Tara11, Can't quite tell by the photos...does your transducer compensate for the angle of the vee or do you have a fairing block between the transducer and the hull?

    Fuel tank leak

Porkchunker, I saw that site and it has a pretty informative description of the "proper" way to install a tank. The problem was that to do it as he described would have added mucho $$$ to an already expensive repair. I am hoping that coating the tank will do the trick. And you are right about...
