OK, spoke to Ryan. Really nice guy and his company did buy Coastal Canvas. He is in the midst of figuring out what patterns he has for Parker cushions. So, we'll see what happens.

Anyone have the contact info or website for Carolina Marine? The guy above states he bought Coastal Canvas. I've called every 'Carolina Marine' in north eastern NC and they don't make cushions!

new all in one should have the orange wire. If my memory is correct - tabs will work fine with out hooking it up to switched power, but if you don’t, you won’t have auto retract.

There u go! Since it’s alum, and the gains small if lean toward sanding. Hard to get the wedge perfect - crud and water will get in there over time and filling gaps with 4200 doesn’t look all that great

Consider sanding the bottom face flat. I’d do that then paint with various paints to seal things up. Is it aluminum or SS? Either won’t take much to sand flat by turning over a belt sander hand then holding the rod holder in your hands. Before sanding lightly spray paint the bottom so you...

This is the core of why I posted this question! I have deck plate access just aft of each fwd bench seat. Have yet to crack one open to see i have access to the plumbing. If not - the project really can’t be done.

I put 3" zinc plates on my tabs, after three months they are gone. My boats on a mooring. The motor zinc is slightly pitted but no where near as aggressively eaten as the tab'd zincs. I have no idea why the difference. Basically I'm seeing the same thing as you are.

Interesting setup. I'd think the weight increase with two screws is not ideal considering this boat is so ass heavy. Most of us with these boats work overtime to move weight fwd. Batteries etc... I'm sure you've thought about all of this tho...

I recall seeing a post some time pack from a guy who makes these rod holders out of the white plastic stuff I’m done with the silly Parker silver ring type! I’ve searched the forum and nothing is popping up. Anyone remember?
