I called New Jerswy to get a price on a left over 2820. Same thing. He said he could not sell me the boat because I live in Maryland. I lost intrest quickly. If I was in business to sell boats, I would probably stock some boats that I could sell :roll:

3500 rpm - 26 mph @ 1.93 gph
4000 rpm - 34 mph @ 1.84 mpg,
4500 rpm - 38 mph @ 1.65 mpg.

Just got back from 3 day weekend. Thanks for the reply. I am moving down from a 36 that gets .7 mpg. I was looking to double that and try for at least 1.5 mpg. How do you like your 28 off shore? Can you slow down enough to troll for rockfish at 2 mph?

I am going to look at a 2820 with twin yamaha 250's, vintage 2006.
Can anyone share their experience on fuel burn at cruise, troll, or wide open.
Any issues with this setup?
Also, can you troll this set up slow enough for rock fishing?
