Wicho, It didn't seem normal. I know a motor on a bracket will drop the stern but it was extremly low. Do you know what would cause it. I thought maybe the drain plug came out. I even check the bilge. Now that I think about it I didn't check the access port on the bracket. any ideas?

I went out on a sea trial on a 23 CC DV. I have no experience with a motor on a bracket. I was attempting to overcome my dislike for them becuase I believe they take up too much space at the stern when fighting a fish aft. The boat was sitting very low in the water at slower speeds 5-10 knots...
