    1801 Front Cooler Livewell

Thanks. That would be the easiest option, however I fish out of the North East and this option would make my deck incredibly slippery in the colder months. I believe the newer 1801s drain under water. The hose comes out of the bottom of that livewell, on top of the gas tank, then out the...

    1801 Front Cooler Livewell

Thanks for the idea and I get what you are saying, but space on my 1801 is already limited, so this option really won’t work for me. I appreciate the response.

    1801 stereo options

My phone is only connected to this stereo via Bluetooth & not connected to anything else via Bluetooth, so the auto connect is ruled out. Plus, it doesn’t drop at lower/slow speeds which also rules out auto connect. Files are stored on my phone. I am going to try to connect to this device via...

    1801 stereo options

I am actually back here searching for a replacement unit which I originally thought was "great". After using this system for several months, I am overly disappointed by it. I have the unit on one of my spare switches on my panel, and after turning on the switch, i still have to go into my...

    1801 Front Cooler Livewell

Has anyone converted the front cooler seat, directly in front of the helm to a livewell? If so, I am wondering where you drain your livewell overboard? Thanks in advance.

What gets factored into the sell price of a boat?

Curious as to what this forum opinion is for pricing a boat to sell. *** MY BOAT IS NOT FOR SALE. The below is only for knowledge *** In my case, I have a 2006 Parker 1801 with a Yamaha 150 2 stroke with about 300 hours sitting on a Venture Trailer. Based upon that alone, & doing some...

    1801 stereo options

I have the Fusion hideaway system & it works great! I control all of the audio through my GPS unit (Nmea 2000 networked). I also run a pair of JL speakers mounted on both sides of the console a few inches above the deck. This way you get full sound all around the boat. This system is plenty...

Filling Helm/Console Hole for GPS wires?

Thank you! Do you happen to have a pic of your install? I see the items on the link you sent, but I’m struggling a little to see it in practice. I def get the idea, but seeing it might help pull it all together. thanks again

Filling Helm/Console Hole for GPS wires?

Anyone have a good solution for preventing water from entering your center console (1801 in my case) after installing a GPS? I have recently replaced my GPS unit on my console and after running all the wires, (specifically the transducer wire being the largest), I would like to come up with...

    1801 Leaning Post/T-Top

Hello, I am looking to install a new leaning post on my 1801. My current post (attached here) is 30" wide & I would like to go with a 33" wide version, but I want to make sure that the stringers are wide enough to accept this new width. Therefore, I wanted to check with anyone who has...

    Question on battery switch

So I think i just solved this problem. Wire on #1 pole is straight to battery Wire on #2 pole is to engine (my best guess since when I took that wire off the switch & turned the key, I had no power to my gauges. add wire back & had power back to gauges). I added a new 4 awg wire to the Both...

    Question on battery switch

Also, I made a mistake in my first post. My trolling motor batteries are NOT connected to the switch. But as you can see there are multiple wires coming into that switch that I am not sure what they are (besides the one 4 awg wire that I can trace directly back to the Interstate battery.

    Question on battery switch

So I added some pictures to help tell this story. Pic 4719 was the original wiring 4720 is my almost latest (that SonicHub is no longer there (that's another story)) 4736 is my switch with a breaker that goes to?? 4737 is a pic of my batteries. The Interstate is the cranking/house battery...

    Question on battery switch

I have read through the following article which was helpful, but my case is a little different (at least from my lense). https://www.classicparker.com/threads/understanding-the-battery-switch.20726/ I have the standard perko 2 battery switch which I will look to change to BEP at some point...

    1801cc

You will be very surprised at what that boat can handle given its size. I also fish off the NJ coast & have been in stuff I would have hated on my old 24’ boat, but felt perfectly safe in my 2006 1801. Just this fall I was coming in Longport inlet with 5-6’ rolling following sea, and while...

Navigation Lights with Trolling Motor on 1801

My boat is currently in the shop so I cannot get a port side shot, however you should be able to quickly see and determine via the attached that it will be almost impossible to see that portside (red) light at night time. I will take a look at the side mounted ones as well. I do have a few...

Navigation Lights with Trolling Motor on 1801

Cool. Any suggestions then? Or are you just here to throw up on this post?

Navigation Lights with Trolling Motor on 1801

Thanks for the pic. What you have is likely what I will go with. Do you trailer it with that light like that, or do you pull/store & launch when needed? Also, i am guessing that is a 10" pole? Attwood make/model?

Navigation Lights with Trolling Motor on 1801

Folks with the 1801 AND have a trolling motor mounted, what have you changed or implemented so that your bow mounted nav lights (red/green) are visible to both port & starboard? Currently my trolling motor is mounted so that the prop will drop in the port side, however when stowed, the prop...
