1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

Thank you very much. It has been a project I’ve enjoyed working on and it’s been a great vessel to own. It fits my needs to a tee. Please post some pictures of your vessel as well. I love looking thru pictures to see what other owners have done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you. It’s new welder so I’m getting used to it and it’s settings. I setup a new company and I’m producing rod trees. The tank is a side project of mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    ‘98 2310 battery size upgrade

Incorrect. The blue seas add a battery can indeed combine the battery banks in an emergency situation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    how bad is this ?

I would certainly address those holes and seal them. I’d recommend doing it correctly with resin and glass vs the 5200 plug and seal method. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

I’ll update with pictures as I go. It’s a side project of mine so not too fast track right now. I’m setting up for light production on other parts right now. If anyone has some ideas of a need for aluminum parts please PM me. I’m open to ideas. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

Thank you very much. I recently started a fabrication /welding business and I’ve been making aluminum parts for local fishermen. On the Great Lakes we use mostly aluminum for rod holders and rocket launchers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I started fabricating a new fuel tank for the furnace on my 2320. The original plastic Chinese tank concerned me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WTB: Parker 2120 w/f200, willing to spend up to 16k - FOUND!

Unless you want to deal with issues later I would drill and epoxy the holes, then drill thru the epoxy for a complete seal of the core material. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2120 Deck Repair

I used this company for my epoxy resin and material (excluding plywood) : https://www.boatbuildercentral.com/# They are very helpful. Just give them a call and explain what your doing. They will offer some good recommendations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2120 Deck Repair

I’ve used total boat 2 part fairing compound with good success. Early in the fairing process you can mix micro balloons in with resin for fairing as well. That’s the sequence I used on my roof. I used epoxy resin but if considering gelcoat I’d avoid it. Gel does not bond well to epoxy. Good luck...

    new purchase

Take a few pictures of where you want to mount the bracket for the kicker? I would recommend a fixed mount bracket vs the swivel style myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trolling Motor on 25XX or 23XX Pilothouse?

This is by no means a critical comment but are lugs supposed to be limited to 3 terminals/stud? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Need gelcoat help

Thanks wart and I agree. I added this In my area we cannot power load at any ramps so that out of the question. The newer setup with the roller has worked perfectly this past season but if for any reason the problem returns I intend to change it out to dual bunks like your picture. Sent from...

    cabin heater for 26

John, I texted you the links for the parts I used. Feel free to give me a call as well. I’m far from an expert but the heater works very well and kept the cabin warm at 5 deg while I did some wiring last winter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

My 24 trophy pounded bad in anything over a 1’ chop. The 21’s seemed to do better. I had a few friends with the 21’s but oddly bayliner put 4 cyclinder engines in those and they were badly under powered. All the deck hardware would shake loose on my 24 after a long weekend. A lot of fond...

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

Nice setup! I hope to insulate and heat mine in the future. I made 2 critical mistakes when I built mine. 1-it’s too small [emoji2373]2- I built it with 14’ walls which only allows me a 12’ door. My Parker fits fine but the extra clearance for a loft would have been nice. Ironically my first...
