Bilge pump pad wet and delaminating

Andy, I believe the "factory made raised area" you are mentioning is what LongIslandfish is referring to that is de-laminating. Parker, at least they use to, placed a block of wood that they laminated over in the bilge for you to screw your pump into. The problem is that over the years people...

Bilge pump pad wet and delaminating

Fortunately, these hulls are not "cored". Yes they have wood in the stringers and transom but the hull is solid fiberglass. As for the the mounting block, I would just clean it up real well in that area and see if you can find a piece of starboard (below) to replace it with. When clean, and...

Parker 2520 Soft Spot Deck Repair

It says for "single notch only" which makes me believe it's for the boats without a bracket. I guess they use the same hull for bracketed and notched but need to change the center of gravity with the ballast instead of outboard bracket. I'm not certain of this but it makes sense in my mind...

    Parker Stringer Layouts

I am only guessing however I would think for mounting the center console. Since they refer to them as backing plates it must be used for bolting down something, guessing CC (or maybe leaning post/live well)

Boat For Sale SOLD-2005 Parker 1801 PRE SALE NOTICE

Hey Chance, I'm just curious, did you mean $28.5? I only ask because you started at $29.5k, then went to $26.5k, and now back up to $28.5k. I'm not suggesting your value is wrong, just thinking you may have made a mistake.

Parts Wanted Looking for a pulpit for my 2120.

I think you will have a hard time finding a used one that was made for a Parke however, I have seen several boats (including parkers) use the aftermarket stainless anchor rollers similar to the first link below. The second link helps determine a good pulpit for your needs and the 3rd link is...

    Substance from exhaust

Honestly, if a certified mechanic came to your house, dropped the lower unit, inspected it, pressure tested, and only charged you $120, you are the winner today. Keep his number in your cell because he was extremely fair with his pricing

NEW -N.C. Wildlife 18 Ft Parker w/200 Yamaha

Actually, although it doesn't matter since the bid is over, it was a 300 Yamaha HPDI (2 stroke) motor on the 21'. The boat had to absolutely fly when the motor was working. As for the 18' I believe the 200 hp is their (yamaha's) 4 cyl 200 which is actually a fairly light motor for 200hp and...

NEW -N.C. Wildlife 18 Ft Parker w/200 Yamaha

The 21' ended up selling for more the 2nd time around. $17,818.00 Not a bad deal but I think it's a lot for the unknowns of that boat and motor. Hopefully, for the buyer, it turns out as a steal.

    Best Fall Run Ever!!!

That is great news CaptBeach. From 2007 - 2013, between mid January to mid February, a group of us would go down to VaBeach for 3-4 day Rockfish (Striper) trip. It was defintely world class fishing as the big ones were making their migration to the Chesapeake. Eventually it became not worth...

    Best Fall Run Ever!!!

Unfortunately for us on the Chesapeake, that is a thing of the past. All those fish you are catching use to come up the Chesapeake at this same time as recent as as 2013 but now we have no bait for them. The menhaden have been stolen from the area by Omega and these monsters have no reason to...

The biggest fish you ever caught

Thats a monster, My biggest was a 54lb 49" striper but 74lbs is unheard of. How long was that, had to be 55+" and when was it caught. I ask becasue they don't head up this way too much anymore, at least during the seasons. Great catch.

    Pop up cleat

Although I never purchased pull up cleats from GEMLUX, I have purchased thru hulls and latches from them and their quality of product and service after the sale is second to none. They do have 6, 8, 10+" pull up cleats at a reasonable price (not cheap price) but their quality of stainless is...

    94 2300 rebuild

You mentioned that the only part of transom that was rotten was bottom 2" of V. My 2320 didn't have any wood in the bottom 2" of V, where the drain plug was. It is like that from factory, on purpose. Hope that wasn't your case and you removed a good transom. Otherwise, best of luck, I look...

    Towing a 2540 DC

Well, I feel it would probably be very similar to towing a 2520 since it's design is from the same hull. I believe, with full fuel you're probably around 7500# plus trailer. Also, the beam is 9'6" which would require a permit (in most states) to tow but is easily doable. The right 1/2 ton...

New to Forum, not to Parkers

Very nice boat for the Patuxent and the Chesapeake. I primarily fished Potomac and Chesapeake when I had my Parker but now fish Patuxent with family. This is a great site for help when you need it but be patient with responses.
