Yes, he has changed the zincs with boat in the water and it's kept in salt water. The tabs and zincs are not painted. I'll take a pic and post it here.

Andy, I do have zincs installed. The boat has been in the water for almost two years and this is the first time the rust was noticed.

I have a question about rust on my port side trim tab. I keep my 2120 in a slip full time and recently the guy who scrubs the bottom noticed the rust on the trim tab. He said it was electrolysis. How would I go about in preventing that from continuing? Appreciate any thoughts on this. Thank you.

Funny, I was looking at mine today and I did not use any washers on the underside. Hope that helps....

I installed a hydrofoil on my 2120 and no complaints. I also added a 4 blade prop and now I get on plane very quick.

I appreciate all of the comments on this thread! A lot of valuable information. Going to have the dock mechanic change out hoses and then see if that "fixes" the fuel smell.

Asking this question again.... I believe that I read in another thread that the charcoal canister is not "needed". Has anybody ever removed theirs and not replaced?

Dock mechanic came by and believes it's the charcoal canister under the gunwale near the fuel fill causing the smell. He claimed that sometimes when the tank is overfilled, fuel can end up in the charcoal canister. He also recommends that I replace the fuel vent hose and fuel sending unit...

Update. I changed out the hose clamps like Wort recommended. I can still smell fuel. I have one of the dock mechanics coming by next week to try and figure out. My last resort will be to take it to the dealer. I haven't done that because they charge 450.00 to haul it out of the water, but I'll...
