Parker 2310, whats up with the 225 engine any problems and what year is it?

I pick your brain a little, which transducer are you using and at cruising speed does it show bait, or do you have to slow down? Thanks

I been researching the fcv620 a lot for the last couple years and will buy it over the winter for a upgrade to my old lowrance which was a great unit. The fcv585 is pretty much the same unit bumped up to 1k. sorry for no hands on but have not seen a negative thing reported on it.

Splash well is sealed and screwed to deck, no water gets under it. It is the same as FLIBOI21 picture.

It also helps to take the plastic grates off of intakes before putting on the muffs, helps to get more water flowing easier I guess.

You can move the racor up to inside under those transom boxes, against the motor well wall, it will clear.

There comes a time when the seas can sink any vessel on it, maybe your boat was a little out its league that day. Why be fishing when you got passengers pooping their pants. PLEASE don't think I'm being nasty but sometimes you got to look at it a different way, no fish is worth injury or worse.

If you are buying a new 23' get it with a 250hp, it saves a lot of regrets and $$$$ later. Also less wear and tear on motor. When you are trying to stay on the back of a wave coming in F.I. or Jones inlet you will thank me! :wink:
