What's the best way to make my new 2320 Parker w/F300... slower?

You are too kind. I do plan to stick around though, this is a great crowd and I really love the Parker. Never had a boat with a fully enclosed cabin and it is the cat's meow! I'll miss the "battle tank", a perfect descriptor for how I feel riding this boat. If it was just me, it's a keeper...

What's the best way to make my new 2320 Parker w/F300... slower?

This is a bit off topic, but... We have new boat coming in late March. Sadly, will be selling the Parker. it's a fantastic little boat, short on creature comforts... four ladies in my family and that porta-potty under the cabin cushion never got used, yet, lol. We own it, in northern NJ, will...

    Transom Damage

I saw your thread on this on the THT, you seem to have such great attitude about the ordeal. I admire that. (I would have lost my $h.t)

    Wood core

Parker hull is solid fiberglass, stringers, hull cap and cabin roof have wood.

    Tilt & Trim Issue

That's pretty bad. I wonder if you have, by any chance, reached out to the THT readership regarding this particular issue? I know! - in general, that site can be a clown-show! However, there are A LOT of Yamaha 300 owners there and I wonder if this is a warranty repair or a recall type of an...

    Tilt & Trim Issue

Wow, just reading this. Thank you for posting. That sounds like it should be a recall? I know Yamaha doesn't do recalls, but is it an issue with all 300s or is it specific to your motor missing something. Again, thank you for the heads up, either way. --

    This time of year again...

This is what I use, it was recommended by someone who is a detailer, on another boating site, the best soap I ever tried...

Need help finding a generic cover for 2320

So, I finished today. I can't seem to be able to get home before dark, no good pics. One thing I did, sort of following up on @Mpellet feedback, was to extend a ratchet strap from the tip of the pulpit rail, over the radar dome, to the back of the platform, kind of creating a crest / midline to...

    This time of year again...

It would probably work. I have this long pulpit, and the new long Armstrong bracket, so this one (T27) goes over both nicely.

Need help finding a generic cover for 2320

Yes, the top opens up with a velcro strip, which falls roughly along the rear edge of the cabin roof (along the rocket launcher bar), it is aligned with the two zippered openings running all the way to the sides. I'm happy to take more pics, I think I'll have it fully installed tonight. I have...

    This time of year again...

My least favorite time of year - pulling the boat out for the winter! This weekend we took one last short trip, and pulled her home. I managed to clean and condition the whole boat today, still need to strap a new cover (EGR-T27). and then... see-you-again-in-March!

Need help finding a generic cover for 2320

I'm next door in northern NJ. Snow? This was my deck last Feb, lol In all seriousness, I'll post pics tomorrow when I finish strapping the cover. I considered the need for a support pole(s) but it won't be necessary, when strapped taut over the cockpit the cover has enough angle to shed any...

Need help finding a generic cover for 2320

Pulled her out and brought her home for the winter! I tested the cover, did not strap it down yet as I have a lot of cleaning to do and still need to winterize. BUT The cover is the bomb. Honestly, I'm beyond impressed, and wanted to post so that you could jump on it if it is still available...

I may be pulling the Parker out this weekend. Whenever I do, I will fit the cover and will post the results.

Need help finding a generic cover for 2320

I purchased something called EGR-T27 on recommendation here - somewhere on CP, which I can not find right now to save my life (someone please help! lol). (I swear I saw it here on CP!) Here is the link, I think I paid full price in the summer, looks like it is discounted now...

2021 2520 My First Pilot house boat

@Realtor - beautiful boat! love the name, too. Funny, we have a 2320 which was picked by my wife. I was not too thrilled at first as I wanted a walk-around but I'm more and more in love with the boat every time we go out! Such great design, and the simplicity. It works!

    It’s a wrap

I love it! The best way to see the city. I currently slip in the new marina in Carteret, NJ. it's about 20min away from the tip of Manhattan if I push it, 30-45 if I go around Raritan BAy and under the Verrazano bridge. This season, I have done this "Manhattan tour" loop (Hudson/Harlem...

What's the best way to make my new 2320 Parker w/F300... slower?

Please note, those speeds hover around 15-20 mph range, basically just allowing me to hold the boat on plane while plowing through; I would not describe it as comfortable, lol.

What's the best way to make my new 2320 Parker w/F300... slower?

Quick update - still LOVE the powertech 4-blade. Love it. No permatrim, with the trim tabs down I can plow through 3-4 footers on plane at 15-20mph. I also frequently run with passengers sitting in the back, it amazes me how comfortable and dry the ride is back there! This is a pic shot running...
