    Captain OUPV Bucket List...Check

Not brokers. Yacht management companies. People who own boats in the 1 to 3 mil range don't care for their own boats. They hire yacht management companies to do that. In addition, boats that homeport in the northeast and mid Atlantic many times go to Florida for the winter, and come back for...

    Captain OUPV Bucket List...Check

Congratulations ! Yes, it is a lot of work and not inexpensive either, so you can be proud of your accomplishment. I went to SeaSchool about 6 years before I retired and earned a 25gt Masters with a towing endorsement. When I renewed, I upgraded to a 50gt ticket. My plan back then was to...

Opinion on how much chain is "enough" chain...

Typical ballpark on length is: chain length = length of the boat If the pre-made rode only has 15' of 1/4" chain, you can add length pretty easily using a clevis to make it whatever length you want.

why no bow/anchor line chocks on 23 SE?

If you do decide to add a pair of cleats to your bow, don't go too small and don't go cheap. I would recommend 10" Herreshoff cleats like the ones seen below. These are OEM Parker.

    New 2120 owner!

One way to know for sure... Pop open the inspection plate aft and the tank will have an info tag on it. The gallons are listed.

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

When I replaced mine the first time, I had the canvas shop make them a bit smaller, but the second time I eliminated them. I never ran with the curtains down and by eliminating them I was able to get a tighter roll when they were up. A side benefit was keeping sunlight and prying eyes out of the...

If the thru-hull fitting was bronze or stainless, 5200 would be ok... but since it is plastic, I would not go that route.

Radar, sonar, chart plotter for 23 SE

Measurement from the keel is pretty spot on. Can't tell about the transom measurement, but the x'ducer cane be seen on the photo on the left (starboard) side.

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

I have never seen a deck drain / thru hull that looked like that. Having said that, those parts look like items you could probably source online, or at your local marine store. 2 fittings connected by some outside helix bilge hose.

    correct name

In a perfect world, if there was room in there, that would be best. Problem is, those batteries are tucked under the deck, so no room behind them. To port, are the fuel lines and the fuel/water separator. To starboard is the Guest dual battery charger and all of the lines running under the...

    Rooftop Rod Holders

Any good fab shop could build you exactly what you want. Look for folks who build t-tops, towers, and bow rails for a quote.

How big is the tank on my 2520

    Three. One for each tank.

How big is the tank on my 2520

When you open the aft pie plate, this is what the tank sticker looks like. My boat had 3 tanks. The main was 127 gallons and the 2 wing tanks were 47 gallons each.

    G2 repower on a 2520 Parker?

2520's work much better with 24x9 tabs. The factory 12x12's are just way too small for this hull.
