I am wondering if I would be able to spot them with an inspection mirror? (boat is covered otherwise I would run out and check) Thinking of upgrading to a leaning post would be great to tie into those
We can come into a dock with power. I could leave it plugged in overnight or for a morning here and there. Suppose I could do some sort of solar trickle charger as well.
I had never considered recharging - I guess I just figured the batteries would somehow be hooked up to the overall...
We are considering adding a TM next year so I thought I would ask what length others were using on their 23SE's. But certainly info on preferred brands and/or models is always appreciated as well. Never owned a TM before but guessing that it would make fishing more productive and therefore more...
Thinking of adding a TM to our 2001 23SE in the spring and wondered what you are using and how pleased you are with the addition. I know I want some type of "spot lock" for fishing in the strong currents (Kennebec and Sheepscot Rivers)
Welcome PD! I am just a bit up the coast from you in Boothbay Harbor - We also have a 23SE, ours is a 2001. This is a good forum to ask those questions and get some answers
I am with you Moonpie - I have a 2001 23SE and would like to find a new(er) console aftermarket for a variety of reasons. One being so I can flush mount electronics. I also just prefer the "look" of the newer consoles vs the older ones (with the flat top)
I assume you mean 174.3 lbs heavier? Does the current 200 ETEC feel underpowered? The Suzuki (225 or 250) would be a 6 cyl with more torque I would suspect
Not sure if it came that way or not, but your console has what appears to be a box atop the standard "flat top" console? I have a 2000 23SE and am trying to locate that exact part to upgrade my console. Did you get direct from Parker or is it an aftermarket option?
Firerider - what are you running now? I also have a 23SE that I am considering repowering in the future. Came with a 175 and looking to go bigger, not for top end speed, but hoping for a better pop onto plane and less fuel consumption overall
