What length trolling motor are you running on 23SEs?

Thinking of adding a TM to our 2001 23SE in the spring and wondered what you are using and how pleased you are with the addition. I know I want some type of "spot lock" for fishing in the strong currents (Kennebec and Sheepscot Rivers)

We are considering adding a TM next year so I thought I would ask what length others were using on their 23SE's. But certainly info on preferred brands and/or models is always appreciated as well. Never owned a TM before but guessing that it would make fishing more productive and therefore more fun. Particularly on days when I am out solo.

Sorry I can't help you with the length. But I know that once you have a TM, you will not have a fishing boat without one. It will be a great addition for fishing the Kennebec, especially if you fish the deeper spots. I've had mine for 3 years and I haven't touched my anchor in that time.
I'm guessing you'll need at least an 87" shaft and a 36V. I've got an Ulterra but a lot of guys are happy with the Terrova as well. I can't speak for the other brands but everyone has an opinion on brand.
