    the transom is 3in. thick it would hold any motor anyone makes the problem is no one will bolt a 300 on a bracket that has 250 stamped on it

    thks for all the help guys i have deceided to have the good people at armstrong make me a new bracket to hold the 300hp suzuki. with the custom tower & the boat loaded i want a 27 knt. cruise & with calm seas i can go even faster. p.s the 250 hp bracket is for sale its brand new asking 900.00...

    thks 4 the info prob. go with 250 yamaha only reason 4 the suzuki was weight factor.

    just got 25 cc with bracket comm. hull to set up they way i want it. not sure about the power yet. 250 hp max on bracket was thinking about a suzuki 300 h.p not sure how the 250 will push it. 16 degree hull. looking for 25 to 27 knot cruise not so much top end. any numbers would be helpful. thanks.
