Just bought a new 1801 and am looking for a good cover for the console and leaning post. Thank you in advance

Your profile doesn't state you location, but if you're in or around Morehead City/Beaufort contact Cape Lookout Canvas & Customs. They made the full boat cover, console cover and bimini top sleeve cover for my 2005 1801. The material is the heavy sunbrella, 10-yr warranty in navy blue. Still in great shape. I'm not the original owner nor did I make the purchase decision on the covers. However I appreciate the quality of cover in which they invested. The cover has 3 tie-downs on each side, a bungee cord draw-string all around the bottom hem for cinching the cover, and an adjustable strap that tightens the cover around the engine skeg. There are corner reinforcements sewn into the cover on the pressure points; console grab rail, stern corners.

I've seen covers online that are made from 9.25oz Sunbrella acrylic in the $500 to $750 range. You can select the make and model but I wonder how good those fit. I've considered what I would do if these covers need to be replaced. I don't have decision.
