1801 livewell/flip seat

I have the 1801 live well flip seat combination and hate it, I would like to leave the tank remove the seat portion and install a leaning post, has anyone done this before? Also who manufactures the tank? Does Parker make it themselves? I am close to removing the whole unit and starting over.

I ordered my 1801 with the live well and seats that are standard on the 21... It's a great combination for how I use the boat.
