1801 Yamaha 115 not starting

Hello all,

First post here, have been lurking for a while and love the site. I have a 2002 Parker 1801 with a Yamaha 115 two stroke. I had the boat pulled out of dry stack today and the deck hand said it started up fine. We got there 30 minutes later and no start. Turn the key and no click or any sign of life. The VHF, GPS, Fishfinder, and all switches work fine (bilge, lights, live well etc.). The tach and speedometer do not work nor does the tilt. Battery is fully charged. Any thoughts? Is it in neutral?

Saftey switch is removed or activated to off

Funny, that was the first thing I thought and it would have been a perfect "duh" moment. But, the tach and speedo should have been on when the ignition switch was on. Also the trim on the motor or handle should have worked without it being started. I'm thinking a fuse tied to the ignition or the ignition itself.

If everything else works I would start off with checking all the power and grounds on the engine. Possibly also the relays try to clean as many as possible.

All great ideas. I had to leave to return to work so I am having a technician look at it. Never used the guy but he is the house mechanic at The Boathouse at Frontstreet Village in Beaufort. Hopefully, he understands electronics since I think this will be an electrical issue (hopefully a simple one!). Keep the ideas coming!

That's typically a sign the main harness fuse popped or you have 1-battery on a 2-switch system and it's not connected to the circuit or a loose engine cable.

Yep, it was a fuse! Thanks for the suggestions and thankfully it was something easy (cheap) to fix.

Where is it located? back of dash? What are the specs? Maybe I need a spare?
