I'm selling my 1997 1800 center console. I've had the boat since 2006. The boat has always been trailered and used very lightly. It has no bottom paint, and very low hours. Motor is in excellent condition. Starts everytime even after sitting all winter. Its a yamaha 115HP 2-stroke with a Stainless prop. The boat has been been maintained very well and used only a handful of times a year. It comes with a single axel loadrite trailer. Asking $9,500. I'm located in a northeastern NJ (Midland Park.)

Listed are features the boat came with or options/work that I've done recently.
- Bennet trim tabs (a real improvement in handling)
- OEM tackle locker installed on side of console
- OEM Cup holders
- Double battery up in console ( not in rear storage area)
- One new battery in 2010
- Swim platform/ladder
- Installed horn
- Handheld marine radio
- Additional stainless grab handles installed near Console front seat
- New in 2007 or 2008 Garmin Color fishfinder/GPS
- New water pump, fuel filter, and gear lube in 2010.
- new in 2007 Clarion Marine radio/CD/MP3 player (with remote) with waterproof under-gunnel speakers (great sound)
- New tie lines and fenders
- Spare four blade prop
- lighted Compass installed in console
- New yamaha fuel guage to replace aftermarket unit
- New Parker decals
- Custom Console cover
- repaired small chips in gel coat (OEM Parker gel coat used)

Trailer work
-New tires and spare added in 2007
- new galvanized hubs in 2008
- New jack in 2010
- All new non-marring rollers
- four new heavier galvanized roller supports
- LED Waterproof taillights
- New manual winch
- New in 2007 tie down straps.

The boat is clean and ready to ride. The only few items that need to be addressed is the fuel guage which is not working due to the sending unit. Its easily accessable from a porthole in front of the console. The fuel guage and wiring tested fine which points me to the sending unit. Additionally the trim meter flickers and a new 2nd battery is needed.

I can be reached on my cell at 551-427-7136.

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks, I love the boat but my kids are too young to join me. Because I trailer and I'm 45min to an hour away from my launch, boating is an all day affair. I figure, I'll sell this boat now and look for a 2120 or 2100 in a couple years.

Interested in selling the cabinet???

I don't think a gaping hole in the side of the console would help selling the boat. Actually I would think that tackle locker is still available from Finn Addict. I posted about the install in 2007. The locker is one of the best things I added to the boat. Its very handy on an 18 footer which has limited storage.

haha i agree about the hole just throwing it out there, i thought that was the one from fin addict, good luck with the sale!!!

Thanks, I'm not the original owner. But shortly after getting the boat in 2006 or 2007 I wanted it to be a new boat. I added most of the options and fixed everything that wasn't perfect. I went through every inch and compounded everything before polishing. Then I repaired every nick or chip in the gel coat. I haven't compounded or polished it yet this spring. Just cleaned. I need to do some more cleaning in the storage areas, polish the stainless, polish the windsheild and plexi, get rid of a little rust staining around a bolt or two and replace a support on the trailer. If you look under the cover, the engine looks fresh from the factory. The more maintenance I do and the longer in the spring I have it, the more likely I will keep it. The striper fishing is going to heat up soon.

Take care,

Paul

Hey guys, I reduced the price a bit since I haven't gotten much interest. I had flexibility in my original price but maybe it was a little higher than people were expecting.

Thanks, I know in the future, when I buy my next boat, I will have to pay up to get a boat in this condition. Its tough to find one under $10,000. If I do, it will be older and probably need all the items I already put on this boat. My basic requirements are no bottom paint and no hackjob installations, a trailer, trim tabs, low hours, fishfinder, chart plotter, and a sound system. I would like to go up to a 2100 or 2120 but I can't imagine finding a nice one under 15,000.

HI Paul

While Ill admit to telling myself to hold out for a 4-stroke, your boat looks nice. Like it was well cared for by someone who really liked it. That means a lot to a potential buyer <me>

This weekend may be a bust for traveling to see it, (holiday + poor weather) but I am interested. I'm out on Long Island so it's not as though I'm 1/2 way across the country.

My e-mail is TommyD11730 AT yahoo DOT com

If I don't give you a ring this weekend don't be afraid to send me a reminder e-mail.

Take Care

Tommy
