I'm in the market for a late model 2510xld. I see many boats listed on the internet and came across one listed by a marina in Delaware. My understanding is that this 2007 model has never been in the water and was wondering why it was never sold. It has twin 150 yamaha 4 strokes which have zero hours on them. I guess my question would be what kind of problems would one have with a boat and motors sitting so long without use? I would have a boat survey and mechanical survey done for peace of mind. Marina says boat and motors have full warranties. It seems a little suspect as to why this boat has never been use. If anyone has any insight on this boat, I would welcome your response. Thanks

A week or so ago, I called the dealer and asked about this boat. I can't remember the exact details, but, there is not much warranty left on the boat, and memory fails me regarding the motors. I also remember seeing a mention that this was used as a dealer demo?

I made offers to buy that boat about 3 years ago. They also have a 2520XL that they used as a demo with a 250 Mercury Verado. They sold the Verado and put a 250 Yamaha back on it. They wouldn't budge on the price of either boat. Those boats have been moved more times around their yard than all of their boats combined. When the dealer lost the Parker line, folks were a bit leary to buy these boats due to warranty issues. Heck, the hoses and wiring will probably need to be replaced before long. I see now that they are selling a competitor of Parker.
