Great shots Kevin, I was there Friday for a couple of hours myself. I was there with the Exec Director of MSSA to check out some of his sponsors
Composite uses a number of different hulls by different builders. I do think they now own a few molds of their own now though. I am pretty sure they bouught the old carmen 32 mold and maybe another one when the company was auctioned off last year. They also have that 26cc mold and a 34 Express mold. They are mostly known for custom work on existing boats and finishing other hulls like the Markley 46 which they have done several of. The do nice work and build a couple of boats a year. BTW, I LOVE the color of that 26cc... Maybe a bit trendy but I like it.
Judge didnt do the show this year as it is pretty expensive and the turn out and sales as a result of the show had been poor the last few years compared to some of the deadrise and custom builder shows he has been doing. (I think Bill spent like 12 grand last year for a 36, 37, and 27 to be in the Annapolis show last year.) Bill also sold his personal 36 Chesapeake which he had been showing and doesnt have a completed newer 36 to show. The 35 Express he has been running the summer is at the beach still too. He expressed some remorse that he didnt have a 27 Chesapeake there but I wasnt available to help him this year either. He also has been pretty occupied with a new contract he is working on to layup the hulls for another manufacturer. He will likely be back next year.
