My marina is charging me 23' LOA for winter storage for my 2120. Are they trying to pull a fast one on me or is this boat really 23' LOA? My boat does not have a pulpit or anchor roller. Whats the best way to get an accurate measurement? Thanks

2.) Do other marinas add the length of the motor to the LOA?
I believe that is much too strong ... to imply they are 'wrong'. Think about it, a hull with a pulpit takes up more room than one without. Same goes for motors on the bracket. Yards up here (for dry storage) measure your overall length and beam and provide at least a 3' separation from other boats. In essence, you're paying for that area you're occupying. To me, it is a fair practice. When wet, you'd want protection from a boat occupying the slip ahead or behind you, no? Same reasoning goes both ways. On docks, I usually see them tie boats up with min 4' separation. Would you want them to maintain that distance from UNDER one's pulpit  ?
