It would be nice if they would make a 2120 with a solid transom and bracket

I remember that modification now.. But ppem45 only kept the boat a couple of months after the mod, before he sold it. :? ????

Some people like the challenge of a project. When it is done, they move on to another.
That project was unique, and shows that it can be done on a 2120.

I remember that project too
What a nice job
Must be nice to own a one off boat
Major resale value
Thanks for the post

Here are a few more of Passing Thru including a couple of pictures of my bench seat project from last year. I will post more of the bench in the project section this weekend.

All Good Things,
Steve

Steve I see you have a rod behind your seat
Did you mount hooks on the aluminum braces on back or how do you have it mounted
I made a rack for the other side but haven't thought of what you did
Any details would be appreciated

I have seen Steve's boat first hand. Although Pete did an awesome job with the bracket, Steve the new owner took it to the next level with the mods he has done inside and out. Passing Thru is truly a top notch Parker.

I can say when he showed up at this year's rendezvous he absolutely stole the show.

Hopefully he can get a little help from his kids with the pics and show off some of his work.

Thanks for the kind words Bryan. I have owned the boat for just over 2 years now. Peter who owned it previously did a great job with the transom/bracket modification . I have been lurking on classic parker for about 5 years now,and had been watching the modifications of Passing Thru with great interest. My intent was to buy a 2320 that I could trailer comfortably, but when Peter decided to sell I jumped all over it. I can completely understand his decision to sell because he is a tinkerer by nature such as a lot of us on here.

Sully Here are a couple of pictures of the new bench seat . I built it 5' long and it can hold 4 rods. The radius at the end is to allow the butt end of the rods to clear with the rod tip just starboard of the anchor locker door.(7'-0 rods) The seat lid also lifts up for under seat storage of charts and misc items. I have some more pictures I took during construction that I will post soon in the projects section.
