21SE BAITWELL QUESTION

For the past 3 years, I have not used my baitwell. It's been bone dry until recently when it filled up with water while fishing. The water drained on its own and I chalked it up to backing down during our fluking run. But today, I found the baitwell filled with water again, and had not backed down at all last time we were out.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Water will get pushed past the bait well pump at speed if the seacock is left open.

There is also a separate shut off for the baitwell supply. It is up inside the baitwell. I found out just like you did.
