Has anyone had issues with the cabin door jamming in the closed position when the door heats up from sunlight? My door jams closed and cannot be opened from inside or outside the cabin. The only way to open it up is by prying open with a screwdriver. Additionally Parker is not very helpful with warranty service. The cabin wall and door had to be repaired in 2010 after only 3 yrs in service and now that it is only 4 yrs in service but Parker says it is not covered under warranty. They advertise a 5 yr hull warranty and it apparently does not cover any other fiberglass issues including a door that is improperly designed.

Mine does the same thing although not as extreme, a good pull will get it open.

Take a file to the edges, especially where the aluminum channel is.

Just don't file flat, but bevel the edges, i.e., more taken off the in-swinging side of the door. Also could add silicone lubricant to the edges. Starboard is VERY prone to expansion in thermal changes.

Shave the door down, not a biggie to do. A 5yr hull warranty is a 5yr hull warranty not rigging and hardware. Its like having a powertrain warranty in a auto and complaining that the windshield leaks, boat is 4yrs old items need repair and tweaking on boats. Enjoy!

Had the same problem with my 2320. I just unsrewed the door from the piano hinge and ran several passes with a medium grit belt sander across the hinge side of the door. Reinstall is easy since the screw holes are plenty deep and the piano hinge covers any imperfections. Problem solved. I recalled I also had to cut a bit off the bottom also.

a sawzall will make short work of the cabin door.

yes, the lids too (the same matl i believe) across the transom will expand quite a bit in the mid 90s sun and stick shut. i took a sanding block with 80 grit and took some matl off. slowly worked the edges with a final 220 grit for a nice smooth finish.
