I have what I know is a strange question. I want to order a helm pad for my 2015 2300DV but I do not know what the distance is between the center console and the baitwell that the leaning post is mounted to. I can't measure it because my boat is two hours away. I just thought I would ask if anyone knew what that dimensions was.

I'm reading mixed reviews. Many guys say its too hard and doesn't offer much "shock" protection as advertised. Your thoughts??
 
i have a 2501 but i believe that space is the same dimensions. i love my sea shock pad and once flat to the floor it fits perfectly in that space.

The Sea Shock pad is firm, not squishy. However, it does, indeed, dampen the pounding. I wouldn’t be without it.
