2520 I/o auto pilot questions

New member with a new to me 2520 pilothouse I/o (Volvo 5.7)

I'm looking to install the EV-150 Raymarine autopilot

The boat has an engine mounted steering pump. Is this typical?

Would the install still just be a matter of putting the "tee's" in the lines from the helm pump to the auto pilot pump? (I understand the the control head, power, etc. part)

I'm a little confused and can't find any installation instructions that involve having the engine mounted steering pump.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of I/o owners on the board however, be patient, someone will respond with some knowledge to help you. There are some smart individuals to help you out, just give them time to see this. Good luck

Thanks. I did search the threads and read several install stories but they were all outboards. Lots of good info here.

I have it on my i/o and every thing is at the helm on mine nothing to power steering pump that I see
